After acquiring her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Suzan continued with a master’s in Biomedical Sciences specializing in nutrition, physical activity, and metabolism. On top of that, she also obtained a master’s degree in Human Movement Sciences, specializing in sports and nutrition. Throughout, she has gained insight and experience in various interesting research topics covering the influence of different lifestyle factors on metabolic health and performance. She is excited to gain hands-on experience as a researcher on this project, while learning more about the complexity of overweight and obesity. With her passion for sports, you will oftentimes see Suzan working up a sweat on the handball pitch.
